RN Clinic - Mission Valley Float Pool

This is a benefited, part time position working 8-hour day shifts Monday, Wednesday & Thursday generally from 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm. No weekends, evenings, or holidays. Start times may be flexible in certain departments. Specialties include ENT, urology, allergy, cardiology, and possibly others. Located at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley.

What you'll do:

• Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• CA RN license
• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS
• ADN or Nursing Diploma
• Ability to be flexibly in scheduling based on daily department needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of clinical RN experience
• ENT, urology, and/or allergy experience
• Experience with procedures, IV and urinary catheter insertion, and medication administration
• Experience administering IVs for Cardio
