As a Senior Program Manager at Nokia, you will be a key player in our Standards Portfolio and Program management team within Nokia Standards. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a global team of highly experienced program managers, enabling collaboration in a high-performance program structure.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading programs within the Nokia Standards organization's portfolio. You will ensure that program objectives align with business needs, resources are properly allocated, and stakeholder management and task prioritization are effectively executed. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the success of the mobile cellular industry, especially in the development of 6G technology.

Specifically, you will focus on US spectrum allocation, regulation, and related spectrum sharing technologies for the new 6G bands (e.g. 7-15 GHz). Your work will involve the development of advanced spectrum sharing methods, testing, and influencing regulators and standardization bodies with the results achieved.

As part of the team, you will:



  • Lead program management efforts to ensure successful execution of projects
  • Manage and develop projects to achieve its objectives
  • Represent the organization as an external speaker at industry events and conferences
  • Utilize technical knowledge to drive innovative solutions
  • Apply spectrum knowledge to optimize network performance and efficiency
  • Work with Nokia customers and other stakeholders (e.g. regulators) to ensure business impact and success

You must have:



  • Strong leadership and management skills with 5+ years of experience and the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to develop long-term goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • Presentation skills, and capability to influence people and organizations, with 5+ years of experience in regulatory and/or standardization
  • Technical skills to understand and utilize new technologies in the mobile cellular industry, and spectrum engineering and management. Master's degree or equivalent experience


It would be nice if you also had:



  • Risk management skills to assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions.
  • Decision-making skills to make informed and timely decisions for the benefit of the team and the company.
  • PhD would be nice
