Sales Engineer III - National

As a Sales Engineer III - National with Insight, you will provide technical product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers regarding Security products. We will count on you to collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs. Along the way, you will assist in the preparation of proposals, bigs, and technical documentation for sales opportunities.

As a Sales Engineer III - National you will get to:

  • Technical Expertise: Providing in-depth technical knowledge and expertise on products or services to support the sales team in understanding and addressing customer needs around all types of security products. This includes conducting product demonstrations, presenting technical solutions, and answering technical questions from customers.
  • Sales Support: Collaborating with the sales team to develop customized technical solutions that meet customer requirements and align with the organization's sales objectives. This may involve assisting in the preparation of proposals, bids, and technical documentation to support sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals, and offering tailored solutions to address their needs. Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Providing technical training and guidance to sales teams, customers, and partners to enhance their understanding of products or services. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitors to provide valuable insights and guidance to the sales team.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer III - National with:

  • Technical Expertise: A Sales Engineer III in a national role should have a strong technical background and expertise in the Security products or services they are selling. This includes a deep understanding of technical specifications, features, and capabilities, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Sales and Customer Relationship Skills: Strong sales and customer relationship skills are essential for a Sales Engineer III in a national role. This includes the ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of the products or services being offered. Strong negotiation and closing skills are also important.
  • Industry Knowledge: A Sales Engineer III in a national role should have a solid understanding of the Security industry in which they operate, including knowledge of competitors, market trends, and customer challenges. This knowledge allows them to position their products or services effectively and provide valuable insights to customers.

Salary Range -Salary: $87,500 - $116,000
