Responsible for supporting all functions of SBA lending, including loan packaging, overseeing the closing and post-closing process, and ensuring compliance with SBA rules and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist SBA Lenders as needed.
  • Compile and organize documents submitted by Borrower(s).
  • Coordinates with SBA Underwriters and RM's on loans to be submitted to SBA for approval.
  • Review Commitment Letter and Credit Administrator approval for consistency.
  • Prepare and maintain credit files through to loan closing.
  • Responsible for any administrative tasks assigned by a loan closing specialist during loan closings.
  • Works with the closing department to serve as an internal and external liaison between the Bank, SBA, third party vendors, attorneys, and customers related to all loan closing issues and to obtain required information.
  • Order and review/evaluate third party vendor documentation such as appraisals, environmental reports, UCC and lien searches, flood search, tax return transcripts, credit reports, etc..
  • Recognize and proactively resolve potential problems in the loan approval/closing process.
  • Provide Superior and quality customer service.

OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires strong knowledge of personal computer, Microsoft Office and other software used in department.
  • Must be able to prepare documents and compose business letters and memorandums.
  • Must have good knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation.
  • Requires knowledge of office practices, procedures and general office machines.
