INVISTA is seeking a contribution minded Global Fixed Asset Manager to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS or North Dallas, TX. The Global Fixed Asset Manager will oversee global fixed asset processes and reporting, collaborating across capabilities to build efficient and sustainable accounting processes that facilitate strong internal financial controls and support business growth. This position will engage, challenge, and provide fulfillment to a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and economic focus, who enjoys collaborating with others, and who seeks to originate ideas that can provide new insights for our business.

What You Will Do

  • Financial Controls:
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP to accurately account for and report on construction in progress, fixed assets, and depreciation.
    • Enhance accounting processes, knowledge systems, and reporting tools with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. Continuously evaluate and optimize these processes to prevent fraud and errors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Improve financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting, contributing to the company's profitability and value creation.
  • Partnership:
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships across the global finance organization through regular meetings, detailed reports, and collaborative tools. Foster effective communication to support financial operations.
    • Partner directly with external financial auditors to support US GAAP and statutory audits in various jurisdictions, ensuring thorough and accurate audit processes.
    • Collaborate with tax and statutory reporting owners to provide support and serve as a liaison in the fixed asset space, ensuring alignment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Process Improvement:
    • Actively seek and share knowledge within the organization and Koch to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Develop actionable recommendations based on thorough analysis and drive transformation in financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Create and present ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for a variety of internal customers, including senior management, department heads, and project teams.
  • Principle Based Management (PBM) Culture:
    • Advance the PBM culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Guiding Principles in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
    • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and long-term value creation.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in related financial accounting
  • Leadership experience (influencing others, developing a team, leading transformation, project leadership, managing team priorities, etc.)
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in fixed asset accounting
  • Experience using SAP Fixed Assets and Projects
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
