Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. This internship takes place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of Oracle EPM, Donaldson's new Planning and Financial Close and Consolidation system:

  • Create reports and templates in Oracle EPM
  • Collaborate with others to understand reporting needs
  • Provide training as needed to new Oracle EPM users
  • Validate results in Oracle EPM

Support the other key financial systems:

  • Tableau
  • Snowflake
  • Alteryx
  • Oracle BI

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review monthly financial results
  • Assists in budgeting procedures and building financial reports (including month end reporting)
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Cross functional collaboration with other groups including Operations, Finance, IT

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled rising junior (current sophomore) or rising senior (current junior) in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
  • Experience in Tableau, Power BI or similar software
  • Intermediate-level or greater in Microsoft Excel
  • Energetic self-starter who seeks innovative solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities
