As the Quality Coordinator RN, you will play a vital role in advancing patient care quality across your assigned service line. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Quality Management: Collaborate with administrative, clinical, and physician leaders to manage publicly reported quality measures and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Real-Time Clinical Support: Conduct concurrent medical record reviews to ensure compliance with core measures and clinical indicators, providing immediate feedback to clinical teams and physicians.
  • Peer Review & Performance Improvement: Abstract medical records for physician peer review, facilitate the peer review process, and support ongoing physician performance evaluations.

Qualifications Required Education, Experience, and Specialized Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience within the last 10 years, or currently in a coordinator/leadership role in an acute care setting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, effective communication, and intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Quality Improvement: Prior experience with quality improvement methods and tools is essential.
  • Quality Metrics: In-depth knowledge of Core Measures and other publicly reported quality metrics is required.
  • Standards & Compliance: Familiarity with Joint Commission standards related to Performance Improvement and/or Medical Staff Quality/Peer Review is strongly preferred.


Required Certification:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.


Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications:

  • Experience with data management systems like MIDAS (or similar) is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
