The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the largest and most influential local news organization in Georgia, seeks an investigative reporter to focus on state politics, campaigns, and campaign spending, as well as the growing use of disinformation by campaigns and others seeking to influence public policy.

Role description: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a strong record as a powerful investigative force for good and we are looking for someone to join a team committed to that mission. If selected for this role, you will assist the investigations team in providing unique, in-depth stories for print, digital, audio and video editions by examining the workings of government and other powerful institutions and individuals, including candidates for public office. Duties include: - Conducting interviews - Pitching and writing stories - Creating open records requests - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
This role will typically work fewer than 20 hours a week. USD 23.17 - 34.81 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
