JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care and health counseling. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to provide high quality primary health care to Penn State students. Typically requires Master`s degree or equivalent knowledge, plus two years of work-related experience. Certified Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Pennsylvania required. This is a part-time position with up to three 8 hour shifts per week, which may include weekends. Work is primarily during the fall and spring semesters. This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances: * PA State Police Criminal Background Check * PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form * FBI Criminal Background Check.
