Under general supervision of the Nursing Supervisor at the Senior Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program (SBH IOP). The Lead Therapist of Senior Behavioral Health's IOP includes managing and creating curriculum for group therapy, therapy staff training, diagnostic evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and case management. The lead therapist will work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to improve access to care and foster collaboration across UCSD Health psychiatry settings and programs. The lead therapists will also be responsible for overseeing case management procedures and coordination to best connect patients to psycho-social and community resources. Serve as liaison with other Psychiatry Division providers and provide education to UCSD programs on SBH IOP services. Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team.
