Your Role as an Electrophysiology RN:

As an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse, you will:



  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to prepare cases, organize rooms, and assist with setup and takedown before and after procedures.
  • Circulate during procedures, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist the anesthesiologist with anesthesia induction and intubation.
  • Anticipate patient-specific needs during cases and support the team during critical situations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Take a lead role in patient care, including:


    • Conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating progress toward expected outcomes.
    • Taking primary responsibility for the care delivered by the Care Team under your supervision.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:





    • Bachelor's degree in nursing
    • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
    • California Registered Nurse License
    • Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS provider certifications
    • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
    • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.




Preferred Qualifications:





    • CCRN Certification
    • Two (2) year of recent RN experience in an hospital acute care setting such as the ICU or Emergency Department
    • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an Electrophysiology Lab or Cath Lab
