Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee Lighting Panels backlog orders within the Electrification Smart Power in NAM, providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
In this role, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the process.
The work model for the role is ONSITE
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Manage local Master Schedule Planners, and Material Planners and communicate the expected delivery dates based on the customer's need and the capability of the organization.
* Manage local Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planners, and Material Planners in processing orders that are less than the standard lead time, assuring 100% on-time delivery can be achieved for these orders.
* Monitoring backlog to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
* Monitor schedule adherence to ensure issues that jeopardize on-time shipment are known and any unavoidable delays in shipment are flagged early and proactively communicated to customers.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering PLUS 0-2 years of experience in Fabrication of electrical products, working in project execution roles with direct customer interaction in the electrical market
  • Experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and coordination within factory, preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
