Job Title: Corps Assistant FLSA Status: Full Time - Exempt Supervises: N/A Rate of Pay: $56,650 Annually Closing Date: 11/23/2024 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:
Scope of Position: A Corps Assistant of The Salvation Army Denver Red Shield Corps shall be a person of genuine Christian character, of emotional, mental and physical stamina, and a loyal participant of a ministry team, able to work well and cultivate trust with other people in a growing congregation. This person must represent The Salvation Army in a positive manner at all times in personal conduct and appearance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Software-related skills: Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher (Or other graphics program) required, working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training. Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, Ability to access and produce information from a computer, Ability to understand written information. High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
1 - 2 years: Experience in Corps programming. (required)
