The Opportunity

Adobe's DX Cloud, AEP & Apps Portfolio is hiring an Engineering Program Manager for the Adobe-on-Adobe Program. You will collaborate with Customer Engineering to lead programs, track priorities, and agile product development. Strong technical background and passion for efficient engineering processes required. Ability to build data dashboards, structure programs, and lead teams through change is crucial.

As an Engineering Program Manager, you'll lead complex programs, apply technical skills, influence roadmap decisions with data-driven approaches, and set the team up for success.

As the Voice of the Customer at Adobe, you will collaborate with product, and engineering leaders. We are looking for candidates who are curious, customer-centric, and have both business and technical knowledge. Strong presentation skills and the ability to identify growth opportunities are essential. You should also be passionate about delivering high-quality software and possess the necessary soft skills to succeed in a matrixed environment. This role offers the chance to lead multiple projects within a critical program and have a say in shaping DX AEP & Apps and Adobe's success.

This is a position in our San Jose, CA office.

What you'll do
  • Manage global, cross-functional teams, develop program plans, allocate resources, document and resolve risks/issues.
  • Maintain a deep, technical end-to-end understanding of the solution being built, its upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts, and critical changes needed to support the initiative.
  • Build dashboards in Jira to optimally lead enhancements, defects and dependencies. Integrate with PowerBI to build visualizations with actionable data insights.
  • Maintain a central repository for operational cadence updates.
  • Build and release status reports including executive-level presentations that can be consumed at various levels of the organization.
  • Actively engage and influence people at all levels: from front-line team members to Senior Leaders, connecting continuously to partners throughout the organization.
  • Build communications , templates and standards to effectively lead and inspire change management processes and communications.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent programs, varying in size/scope/complexity, spanning across several different teams and organizations.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical team members and provide inputs to architecture decisions.
What you need to succeed
  • Masters of equivalent experience in computer science or engineering strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical program management experience, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high quality products.
  • Experience in leading complex programs and initiatives using Jira , building dashboards in PowerBI and leading content in Confluence.
  • Strong PowerBI and visualization experience in Tableau needed with experience in building reports for Executives.
  • Motivated, passionate about customer experience, execution oriented high-performance individual with strong process and metric focus.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with proven experience in Change Management.
  • Possess solid understanding about software development life cycle including build processes, testing and code reviews.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a track record of delivering projects in a fast-paced environment, use metrics and data to come up with recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Strong Social skills, leadership skills to work in a diverse workplace. Meticulously organized, focused, and detailed work ethic.
  • Develop plans, build templates, and provide updates for quarterly-based delivery roadmaps.
  • Self-motivated, curious and ability to resolve issues by understanding business, product, and technical interplay.
  • PMP Certified or SAFE Certified or PROSCI certified Change Management professional preferred
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $138,600 -- $258,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
