We are looking to hire a key member of Business Process teamat one of our US locations (Jacksonville, FL; Savannah, GA; Panama City, FL).

The Business Process Owner (Manufacturing) willoversee the end-to-end process focused on Manufacturing that may span multiple departments, ensuring its implementation, maintenance, efficiency, and improvement, aligned with stakeholders needs.

Key Responsibilities


  • Overseeing an end-to-end process that may span multiple departments, ensuring its implementation, maintenance, efficiency, and improvement, aligned with stakeholders needs (Global Pine Chemicals)


  • Primary business work processes in-scope are Quality management, production grading, production posting, non-conforming inventory management
  • Secondary business work processes include:

    • Production scheduling (supporting PtP BPO)
    • Shipping coordination (supporting PtD BPO)
    • Process manufacturing SOPs (supporting Site Manufacturing)


  • Accountable for designing an effective and efficient process, using the right people and financial and technical resources to run the process, and delivering quality outcomes as required within the organization
  • Develop and implement work process best practices and process changes across businesses and regions through the Global change management process, which includes process documentation and training when it relates to changes to the process
  • Work with various functional leadership teams and stakeholders including Regional Manufacturing, Quality, Global Engineering, and HSES to develop and align on prioritized roadmap of process improvements, Digital Technology Systems, and system enhancements
  • Project management (lead/participant) and business liaison for implementation of Global Technology platforms and enhancements through cross-functional teams including IT, Logistics, Customer Service
  • Technology platforms include but not limited to SAP ERP systems, LIMS and/or equivalent system, MOC system, incident management system, process data and control systems
  • Performs audits on the execution of the processes
  • Mentor/train SME Team
  • Active team member of the Manufacturing function
  • Assure that organizational effectiveness issues and prioritization of resources and improvement opportunities are addressed in a timely and effective manner
  • Support timely reporting of key financial information, monitor performance of KPI's
  • Actively improve Master Data integrity

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business area processes.
  • Experience in the oil and gas, chemicals, aerospace, or manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise and leadership in business area processes.
  • Demonstrated competency in business process improvement skills including process procedure development, value stream mapping, sub process mapping, SIPOC, RACI, root cause analysis and basic data management skills.
  • Ability to independently scope, estimate, plan, allocate and manage project resources.
  • Ability to manage and execute lifecycle and project stage gate processes.
  • Team building, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • SAP power user skills (highly preferred).
  • Advanced problem solving skills (LSS or equivalent experience preferred).

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field.
