Location: The Salvation Army - Family Services Status: Non-Exempt, FT MISSION STATEMENT The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The Salvation Army is looking to fill a Case Manager position in the Las Vegas Family Services division. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, highly motivated individual dedicated to making a difference in their community. The Case Manager for Operation Home will provide case management services including but not limited to: providing appropriate resources, tools and counseling to assist participants in achieving their case plan goals: making referrals for services, following up to ensure that referrals were completed and tracking and document participant progress. This position will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized housing and service plans for each participant using the assessment. Case Managers will find temporary housing opportunities for clients, interface with landlords as necessary to mitigate issues and collaborate with other departments and agency programs for client housing needs. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
