Job Description Summary
Music (Concert Band)
Teaches a full range of courses in Music, specific to instrumental ensembles and technique.
Master's degree in Music Performance (M.M.), Music Education (M. Mus Ed.), Music Composition, Music Theory (M. Mus Theory), or other related Music Master's degrees.
Teaching experience with concert band, orchestra, or other similar conducting post in education.
Knowledge of principles and methods for instrumental curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction of musicianship, ensemble skills, and instrument technique for students.
Willingness to learn and/or have experience in the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid and/or distance learning classes, and /or as a supplement
Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position.
