Job Summary The Office of Development and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity are conducting a search for a Development Officer who can effectively and diplomatically work with prospects and donors, colleagues, high-level administrators, corporations and foundations, volunteer leaders and other constituents to secure support and private funding. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, energetic professional with strong multi-tasking skills and sound judgment who can perform the role of a major gift fundraiser and unit leader for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity.  

Minimum Qualifications **THE CLOSE DATE FOR THIS POSITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED**

Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of two years of experience in one or more of the following areas: development, fundraising, donor relations, alumni relations, public relations, marketing/communications, sales or related experience or equivalent. Superior interpersonal, managerial, leadership, communication, and organizational skills; the desire and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-based environment; the ability to speak and present with credibility; and the ability to work in a system that emphasizes measurable objectives which include targets for fundraising goals are required. Must be able and willing to work some weekends, evenings, and to travel extensively. Candidates must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to selection.
