Summary: Performs functions to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of the existing sales accounts with an assigned territory.  This position services the Hispanic multicultural community and must be fluent in Spanish.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (additional responsibilities may be assigned):

  • Performs functions in accounts that would include new product distribution, promotion and merchandising accounts. This would include point of sale placement, back bar positioning and maintaining an equal or greater presence in each account compared to competitive products.

  • Under general direction, solicits North Carolina On Premise Licensed Establishments by personally visiting accounts, attempting to interest prospective buyers and explaining the merit of product and its application.

  • Recommends products to customers i.e. account owners, managers and staff, based on objectives and goals set by management to increase distribution, sales and profit.

  • Familiarizes established accounts with products and developments to include pricing, POS materials, and local events.

  • Investigates and resolves customer complaints in accordance with company policy to include product concerns and damaged goods.

  • Keeps information on competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Informs company of competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests.

  • Executes plans that achieve all gross profit, sales dollar, and case goals as directed by company and division objectives.

    Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school with a four year college degree preferred; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents (such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals) and to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.  Fluent in Spanish.


    Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, in addition to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished (in written, oral, or diagram form) and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.


    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Requires a current state driver's license

    Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements

  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state of North Carolina.



    Other Requirements

  • Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle.

    Overnight travel is required for assigned territory.
