This leader is part of the Strategy and Planning team within HR responsible for enterprise-wide initiatives that have the highest strategic people impact on the broader organization. Primarily, this individual will play a key role in aligning HR strategy and program offerings to business strategy and growth drivers.  Specifically, they will be responsible for driving the most critical, company-wide people initiatives impacting 30,000+ employees which involve taking the initiative from original design through final implementation, managing senior level stakeholders perspectives, defining success factors and dependencies, identifying and mobilizing teams and ensuring the initiative delivers the intended business results on time.  
This role will involve heavy engagement and visibility to both the HR leadership team as well as senior business leaders across the organization.  This role will require heavy coordination efforts, relationship management, business acumen and a highly organized approach to driving critical initiatives in alignment with key business drivers as well as the broader HR Strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for successful implementation of enterprise-wide people initiatives. Design overall initiative approach and governance to include project milestones, design, resource needs, timeline, as well as risk mitigation strategy and contingency plan.
  • Provides leadership and direction to key players to assist them in navigation and completion of tasks. Serves as a point of escalation for critical issues requiring a high degree of expertise and/or discretion to ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor more junior members of the team; Provide other support, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years experience as a project manager operating in a complex, ambiguous environment
  • 8-10 years relevant experience with Bachelors degree OR 5-7 years experience with Master degree
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word, strong Visio and SharePoint skills helpful
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, (i.e., presentation and written, listening, phone);
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills required;
  • Effective communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management;
  • Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrates a drive for results and a constant awareness of deadlines.
  • Relationship management key to success.
