The Business Systems Analyst Role Business Systems is responsible for day-to-day management of client communications. Participates in evaluation and prioritization of customer/user requests.  Facilitates communications between clients and internal teams, ensuring client reliability concerns and questions are being addressed.  Manages time commitments between client and teams by ensuring delivery of applicable reporting and reliability for the services.  Participates in process improvement and cross-departmental technology initiatives, as well as improvements in interactions between team and client.


  • Manages relationships with internal business partners and external clients.

  • Manages interactions with clients supporting their specific services.

  • Develops and communicates reliability reporting to support client issues.

  • Manages forecasts to address growing client needs.

  • Works with departmental leadership to develop and implement strategic business work plan goals.

  • Reports progress to senior management.

  • Participates in special projects or task forces as assigned.

  • Manage relationships between internal partners.

  • Works with IT Management team to analyze operations and efficiency of the IT group and recommend process improvements.

  • Resolves escalating issues.

  • Tracks and reports metrics.

  • Reports business friendly language for application releases.


  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems or related field.

  • 2-5 years relevant experience.

  • Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio)

  • Ability to lead, motivate, handle difficult employee relations issues and create a culture that supports high employee morale in local and remote locations.

  • Conceptual knowledge of IT concepts, procedures and practices.

  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with business and other IT leaders.
