JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Trainee program is a rotational introduction to the key corporate disciplines of Strategy, Marketing, and Finance. Other disciplines such as Human Resource Management or Risk Management may be part of the program on an individual basis. Trainees can either be recent graduates from college or colleagues who have been with the organization for up to 3 years and are looking to accelerate and/or redirect their career.

The Corporate Trainees will experience a combination of largely on the job training with selective classroom training to enhance their development. In three rotations (exact timing and sequencing may vary), the trainees will go through a structured sequence of tasks to learn the fundamentals of the discipline and start to contribute to day to day deliverables as early as possible.

KEY RESULT AREAS
Participation in project preparation and project management tasks
Participation in the creation of management reports
Data gathering and research
Contribution to complex analysis and stand alone performance of focused analytical tasks
The trainees will conclude each rotation with a compact project in which they demonstrate their proficiency under minimal guidance.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Bachelors degree

Minimum Experience: 0 to 3 years

Preferred Education: Business Administration (focus on Strategy, Marketing, Finance) with GPA of at least 3.8

Preferred Experience: No preference

Basic Skill Requirements:
Skills--Administrative: High bandwidth and ability to multitask, proven ability to learn rapidly

Skills Software: Microsoft office basic proficiency, strong in Excel and Powerpoint
Analyze: Very strong analytic and problem solving capabilities (e.g. issue identification, problem structuring, inductive and deductive reasoning, synthesis)

Math: Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, ratio analysis and variance analysis.

Communicate: Strong presence in in-person communication, ability to articulate well, active listening skills. No specific requirements for written communication.

Scope of Position:
Independent Action: Very limited; nature of training program is to work under guidance
Contacts: Exchanges information with colleagues and on a limited basis with Executive Management.

Travel: 1 3 nights per month during rotation. However, rotational assignments may occur in different locations, e.g. Strategy rotation in Green Bay, Marketing rotation in Milwaukee, requiring continuous presence in determined cities with travel from there as described above.
