Position Title: Operational Risk Management Specialist -- 3rd party risk

Location: Cincinnati or Columbus, OH

Our Operational Risk Management Specialist position in the Operational Risk Management Group will be responsible for assisting in the collection, tracking, analysis, reporting and maintenance of key operational risk data related to third party risk and vendor management. Additionally, the position will work closely with the Operational Risk Director to implement corporate operational risk strategies.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist in the execution of the Bank's Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework.
* Monitor 3rd party operational risk trends and provide analysis of data and other operational risk metrics.
* Support the enhancement of 3rd party risk ORM framework including the development of scorecards and dashboards.
* Assist with collection of data, analysis of information and drafting of operational risk primary risk assessment.
* Identify current and emerging risk trends and escalate as appropriate.
* Participate and/or lead working groups/committees to address and resolve issues.
* Identify and recommend solutions for negative trends.
* Gain an in-depth knowledge of the Archer - Enterprise Risk Management System (ERMS) related to risk analysis and reporting for operational risk.
* Assist with the implementation of operational risk strategies/initiatives.
* Monitor change in the regulatory landscape related to operational risk.
* Participate in corporate risk projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree. Four additional years of segment-specific, or risk related experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
* 3-5 years' experience in an operational risk, risk management, audit, or compliance role in the financial services industry that required independent analysis, assessment and resolution of complex issues. Financial Services Business Segment experience may also be considered in the required number of years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree preference: Business related field.
* Experience with 3rd party risk or vendor management.
* Excellent analytical skills
* Experience with Hiperos or similar 3rd party management tool
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Strong written/verbal communication skills
* PC & Internet proficient
* Data analytics, and presentation of data in the form of dashboards/PowerPoint decks
