Position Summary:
The Forensic Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing electronic media in support of investigations, incident handling, user compliance reviews, and formal incident investigation. EOE, M/F/Disabled, Vet Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct examinations of computers and media to develop evidence using forensically sound procedures.
  • Work with senior team members - plan, organize and devise approaches necessary to respond to investigations and obtain useful forensic information from the evidence submitted, taking into consideration the requirements by agency regulations, federal and state laws - and company policies as they apply.
  • Observe proper evidence custody and control procedures, documents procedures and findings and prepares comprehensive written notes and reports suitable for legal matters.
  • Develop, research, and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends related to computer forensics.
  • Ensure accuracy and adequacy of their investigations and forensic examinations performed.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience.
  • Experience and training in the use of EnCase, FTK, X-Ways or Other Computer Forensic Tools
  • A strong understanding of Windows based systems including installing, troubleshooting, and networking.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and problem solving skills.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile device forensics (iOS, Android, etc.).
  • A strong understanding of Mac OS and Linux based systems.
  • Demonstrable subject matter expertise in Email server environments such as MS Exchange, especially cloud email services like O365.
  • Knowledge of a programming or scripting language.
  • Experience with volatile memory analysis.
  • Forensic certifications such as CFCE, EnCE, ACE, and CDFE strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and eDiscovery
