Job Description

The Department of Computer Science at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri is seeking outstanding applicants for lecturer positions in all areas of Computer Science to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching assignments may include day and/or evening classes.  Lecturers may teach one to three courses with days/times to be negotiated.  Courses may include programming (C++, Java, Python), data structures, computer networks, software engineering, database theory and application, data science, cybersecurity, and other areas of computer science.  Courses may be delivered via live streaming distance facilities in the St. Louis area, on the Rolla campus, or via home computer using live streaming technology.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold either a Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science or in a closely related field by the appointment start date.  Applicants holding a B.S. as their highest degree must have substantial tested, professional work experience.
