BASIC FUNCTION: Train for future positions in Parker's Accounting & Finance areas. Acquire skills to provide quality service. Develop insights to accounting & finance areas including; cost accounting, financial analytics, lean accounting, etc. while learning Parker's systems and using active problem solving. SCOPE/SUPERVISION: Participate in technical/nontechnical training at the facility, division, and group level. Responsibilities - Train at various division facilities - Learn to present positive self-image and make good business decisions. - Learn to provide timely reports summarizing business activities. - Learn monthly closing, journal entries, and correspondence at various divisions. - Complete various account reconciliation/analysis. - Attend required training courses including effective presentations. - Travel/relocate throughout training program and upon final placement. - Research and complete assigned projects. - Interact with other functional areas. Qualifications - Four year college degree - Accounting or Finance - Demonstrated Technical competence and analytical ability. - Computer skills - Microsoft applications - Excellent communication and writing skills - Knowledge of GAAP Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
