COMMUNITY BASED and IN-HOME THERAPIST (MA/MSW)

 

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer full-time benefited Community Based or In-Home Therapy/Family Stabilization Team Clinician positions as part of our Community Services Division. This dynamic and flexible program provides intensive home-based family therapy and care coordination with community providers to children under 21 yr., and their families. We are seeking dynamic and creative therapists who want to make a difference for children and families in the communities where they live.

 

The program uses a multi-disciplinary team approach. Clinicians are paired together with paraprofessionals who provide case management services and linkages to community resources to ensure families' basic needs are met.

Clinicians will also have opportunities to work within other programs throughout the Arbour Counseling system such as outpatient therapy and group counseling.

 

Applicants must have previous experience in a mental health related field in either a group or individual setting for at least one year and a master’s degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field. Applicants should be team oriented and energetic and must have their own transportation. Come join our growing and diverse team! Qualifications

  • Masters of Art or Masters of Social Worker, Psychology or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth and families
  • A valid Massachusetts driver’s license with willingness to drive 30% of the time
  • Daily access to a working, registered and insured vehicle (in your name)
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to independently plan and organize one’s own schedule and activities.
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft computer systems and an understanding of the internet Strong time management skills and origination skills.
  • Applicant is required to own a vehicle that is registered under their name and be a licensed operator in Massachusetts.
  • All supervision is provided by independently licensed Clinicians.
