We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Program Administrator on our Digital Health team.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and operations of the PS2 Digital Health strategy focused on shaping the future of digital health and accelerating the adoption of effective digital health solutions. Primary responsibility is to manage the digital communities (Physician Innovation Network, PIN), including, but not limited to increasing engagement, creating content, and marketing, as well as provide administrative and project support for other digital health initiatives. You will also be accountable for ensuring key stakeholders view the AMA as a strong partner through their experiences, communication and outcomes.


Manage tasks associated with Digital Health initiatives and strategies

  • Assist the Director, Digital Health to manage the digital health virtual communities by supporting programming, creating and sourcing content, and identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Engage users to solicit success stories, obtain feedback, and improve the user-experience
  • Project manage feature enhancements and site optimizations with internal team and external vendor
  • Coordinate with the call center and platform vendor to troubleshoot user inquiries
  • Ensure team members and leadership awareness of key/critical issues impacting projects and have shared accountability for implementing solutions
  • Work with digital health team to implement, coordinate, gather requirements, develop solutions, and evaluate other digital health initiatives ensuring milestones are completed on time
  • Identify opportunities for the Digital Health team to work across AMA departments on synergistic projects; respond to requests in clear, professional and timely manner

    Coordinate events, communication, and marketing efforts for digital health initiatives 

  • Serve as coordinator for events/meetings (virtual and in-person) and stakeholder feedback sessions with external collaborators. Coordinate and disseminate key communications to project participants. 
  • Manage logistics including scheduling, catering, material production, audio/visual needs, travel and lodging, and other activities successfully conduct a well-organized event or meeting 
  • Assist other team members, in creating marketing strategies for products, initiatives and ongoing engagement

    Design, develop, and improve databases, surveys, tools, and reports

  • Develop, populate and manage tracking spreadsheets and reporting databases (e.g. Salesforce, department performance tracking, etc.)
  • Lead the facilitation of digital community feedback through online survey tools (e.g. SurveyMonkey) and regular outreach to community users, maintain database with findings
  • Support building of internal knowledge database by identifying and staying current on trends and insights in the digital health landscape

    May include other responsibilities as assigned


    1. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in business, communications or health-related field preferred
    2. Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination and management, planning and execution or equivalent skills
    3. Working knowledge of health care operations and the digital health landscape necessary
    4. Experience in customer service, sales, and marketing/communications; SalesForce experience preferred
    5. Strong written and oral communication skills, experience with executive-level communication preferred
    6. Experience working with physicians and healthcare organizations preferred
    7. Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to function effectively as a team member; strong analytical and critical thinking skills required
    8. Ability to interface effectively with people of varying disciplines, background, and expertise and contribute to a positive working environment; demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and adapt effectively to changing circumstances
    9. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
    10. Some travel may be required
