Position Purpose:

HR Business Partner provides strategic partnership and HR support to the Northern California Leadership Team and business groups. In partnership with business leaders, this role will support long term HR goals, identify best practices and deliver tactical initiatives that drive business results. Additionally, this role will work with HR leadership on key HR initiatives and projects relative to integration, change management and implementation of HR best practices.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations ensure proper coaching of managers to improve employee performance and engagement. Recommend solutions for performance improvement, policy compliance along with long term strategies for high performing teams.
  • Trusted adviser of HR programs, policies and process.
  • Provide HR support to the local leadership team with focus on driving the talent strategy, including succession plans and developing internal talent, along with recruitment
  • Compensation- Ensure competitiveness and alignment with regional HR plans
  • Workforce and succession planning in close cooperation with the leadership and local HR teams
  • Recruitment Support recruiting process for most senior/critical positions in the region, and liaise with in-country recruiting teams to drive recruitment at a local level.
  • Talent development Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee development programs
  • Training Coordinate the training needs and training planning activities with the leadership teams, leveraging programs delivered by Regional HR L&D teams
  • Liaise and develop relationships with organization counterparts in communications and change management
  • Compilation and analysis of people data to drive decision making
  • Work with broader HR team on a wide variety of global HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years HRBP / HR Consultant experience with diverse employee population and strong employee relations experience
  • MS Office and HRIS proficiency (Workday preferred)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly collaborative with clients and co-workers. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable knowledge of State and Federal employment law
  • Experience in real estate, property management or professional services, a plus
  • Willing to travel locally
