The Senior IT Project Manager will lead project management activities supporting the DHA CAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive Health IT project management experience, focusing on lifecycle management and stakeholder engagement. This role includes providing consultative support for project management and system architecture, aiming to enhance military health systems. Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior IT Project Manager: $145,000 - $150,000
- Pay commensurate with experience.

Senior IT Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Advise on lifecycle management, sustainment, contracting, budgeting, program execution, project management, product management, system architecture, and documentation.
- Supervise contractor support staff for the CAE Equipment Management Office.
- Maintain program schedules and assist Virtual Health (VH) project managers with product lifecycle management.
- Develop, review, and optimize requirements specifications; facilitate stakeholder requirement gathering sessions.
- Engage with stakeholders to document feedback and define IT system requirements for upgrades and enhancements.
- Report issues impacting schedule and work to resolve them.
- Review and analyze IT-related requirements and business processes.
- Follow systems lifecycle processes for managing and reporting requirements.
- Perform studies and analysis of component requirements and capabilities.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to gather and refine technical requirements for IT systems and services.
- Establish and maintain a requirements management tool and manage the change process.
- Support drafting of requirements packages for acquiring new systems or services, market research, and budget planning.
- Provide project management skills to deploy VH technologies and systems in the Military Health System (MHS).
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Senior IT Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least six (6) years of experience in Health IT project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable certification from the Defense Acquisition University.
- Lifecycle management, federal acquisition processes, IT enterprise systems.
- Leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, requirements development, and business process analysis skills.
- Problem-solving, independent and team work, multitasking, attention to detail, organizational skills.
