What You'll Do in This Position

Support SRS Mission objectives and prime contract compliance. Understand strategies being implemented to support financial, quality, delivery and risk objectives of Management & Operation Contractor and Department of Energy - Savannah River (DOE-SR). Understand interactions with external leadership to customer representatives and internal leadership, peers and subordinates necessary to foster team understanding and unity of purpose.

Provide close oversight of the program while supplying periodic support to various internal/external customers directive.

Oversee and resolve a variety of contract issues in conjunction with, or as assigned.

Accept delegated responsibility for a phase of the contracting process. Support more senior contract professionals as needed or as assigned.

Apply knowledge to study, development and analyses of contracts, processes or procedures relating to contract administration.

Organize and accept responsibility for the accuracy of analysis and evaluation of results using standard techniques and procedures.

Assist in the preparation of manuals, reports and procedures.

Assist in the development of all departmental office procedures and requirements in accordance with DOE and management policies.

Support contract programs as assigned by developing correspondence to ensure complete and organized files.

Coordinate, compile and track department costs and the department budget and oversee any required reconciliation.

Develop understanding of roles and responsibilities of Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Project Controls, Project Management, and Engineering.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require

Associate degree in business or technical field

Qualifications We Desire

NCMA certification

Bachelor degree in business or technical field preferred.
Experience in business, finance, and/or contract terms and risk management is desired.
Established organizational and inter-personal skills, and desire to increase written and verbal communication skills; able to perform under high levels of stress to meet deadlines in a contingency operations environment.
Possess a thorough understanding of computer technology sufficient to develop, implement and execute responsibilities.
Experienced with participating in teams and able to perform assignments with routine input of peers and supervisors.
