As the Chief Engineer (CHENG) for Oceaneering's Marine Services Division (MSD), you will be the lead technical authority, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and technical accuracy across all operations. Serving as the primary technical advisor, you'll guide the development of standards, policies, and controls that support daily operations, ensuring that all technical activities align with MSD's mission and rigorous quality standards. In this role, you'll oversee the technical rigor and standardization of procedures and protocols, working closely with the Engineering Department Manager to address engineering management needs. You'll provide direct technical leadership on significant projects, collaborating with Program Managers, lead engineers, and teams across Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to support MSD's manufacturing, integration, and testing processes. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing MSD's engineering and technical talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This position will initially be 100% in-office for the first six months to allow for full immersion in MSD's operations and culture. After this period, a hybrid work arrangement may be available, with three days in-office and two remote, offering flexibility as you continue to make a significant impact on MSD's engineering programs.
