Job Description:

The Production Planner focuses on planning and scheduling production of SVP filling lines and inspection & packaging. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Planning and scheduling of products in Manufacturing and Packaging.
  2. Evaluate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and coordinate appropriate changes to Master Production Schedule (MPS) Review inventory reports.
  3. Maintenance of Process Orders in SAP, (create, release, add pertinent notes if any deviation occurred, TECO); including any rework orders and orders for various projects.
  4. Request raw materials to meet future production runs.
  5. Planning/ scheduling activities of new product introduction
  6. Schedule machines for efficiency, consideration given to: availability of raw materials and equipment, inventory levels of finished goods; drug importance, evolution of sales, requests from Marketing (length of runs)
  7. Expiration report and inventory input analysis

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience required.
  • CPIM certification desired.
  • Advanced computer and software skills, SAP or other ERP's, Microsoft Office required.
  • Physical Requirements: Standard office environment with prolonged sitting and computer use.

Shift: Day

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $67,725 - $83,700 depending on experience.
