Position Purpose |
The Research Project Manager plans, manages, and executes complex, multiple-component research projects studying healthcare delivery and health policy. The manager serves as an integral member of the research team to develop and achieve project(s) objectives, develop and facilitate the execution of project plans, communicate project status to leadership, and work effectively toward problem resolution. |

The Research Project Manager will join TDI's Health Economics Lab at Dartmouth and would be focused on supporting cutting edge research aimed at improving the quality, accessibility, and cost of U.S. health care. We focus on topics related to physician payment, health insurance markets, insurance benefit design, and the pharmaceutical industry. We are seeking applicants who have experience in health care policy, management, or research, and who have stellar project management and communications skills. The research project manager would be an integral part of our larger research team, coauthoring papers and policy briefs, managing meetings, overseeing grant deliverables, and communicating with research partners.

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience |

- 7+ years experience
- 5+ years of experience in research project management or healthcare, ideally focusing on healthcare policy development/implementation, research, or data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Project management skills and ability to work independently, taking initiative to advance projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of research design, implementation, data management, and analysis.
- Ability to use sound judgment when interacting with outside parties.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and interact with all staff, management, and executive leadership levels.
- Ability to contribute to reports, presentations, and technical paper writing.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
