Altamira is recruiting for a challenging and rewarding position for a highly qualified and talented Supply Chain Analyst, with proven record and performance in the U.S. Government contracting industry, at our Denver Metro area offices. This contingent position will support one large program, conduct price evaluation, and participate in the engineering change proposal process. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Conduct market research to identify sources of supply for systems, components, and/orservices. Review competitive proposals for systems and services offered by suppliers and preparecomparative analyses of factors such as cost, delivery schedule, quality, and pastperformance. Negotiate subcontract requirements, prices, and terms and conditions. Issue subcontracts to partner businesses ranging in size from startups to large defense contractors. Maintain procurement history records on all transactions. Extensively interact with multiple functions including engineering, operations, quality, finance, accounting, and management to achieve procurement objectives. Manage suppliers and expedite supplier deliverables. Resolve supplier problems as they arise. Ensure that procurement actions and file documents support maintaining a Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) approved Purchasing System. Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory and audit requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and contract terms and conditions. May provide guidance to other procurement personnel. Required skills and qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, economics, or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement. Minimum of 5 years' experience at a government contractor or subcontractor. Other Desired Skills: Experience successfully passing a DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) Experience with Deltek CostPoint Experience on complex development programs. Experience with large equipment, software, and cloud purchases. Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic. Experience with cost-type subcontracts. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Strong analytic and negotiation skills Experience creating and implementing new processes.
