About the Role:

The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for strategizing, designing, and implementing digital best practices across multiple Neurocrine-owned web properties. This role will report into the Associate Digital Marketing Director and will have the opportunity to work with brand leads and the head of marketing to shape the strategy and success of the commercial team.

Primary responsibilities will include developing best-in-class web, content marketing, search engine optimizations (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to optimize our customer experience, increase marketing effectiveness and implement a/b tests that advance our digital marketing roadmap. This role will collaborate with other digital marketers that own CRM/email, paid media, and social media; Together, they will build a strong and compelling multi-channel marketing plan. This individual must be data-driven and have a bias for translating concepts into measurable and high-impact digital campaigns. The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager will conduct ongoing evaluation of web analytics and manage multiple agency partnerships to assess both web and paid media effectiveness on an ongoing basis.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Conceive, design and optimize a best-in-class web marketing strategies for brand teams.

  • Design and contribute to the digital marketing team roadmap and its growing set of capabilities.

  • Create compliant, efficient and impactful patient and physician journeys, leveraging Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other data sources.

  • Advanced knowledge and management of search engine optimization strategies and SEM campaigns across multiple websites.

  • Examine effectiveness of current web drivers including banners, email, social media posts, and other forms of non-personal promotion marketing.

  • Leverage deep skills in customer segmentation and analytics to effectively reach our target customers in the US; Maximizing audiences through paid and organic growth strategies and increasing patient and physician engagement and conversion rates.

  • Partner with brand teams and contribute to the strategic development and execution of marketing objectives.

  • Manage agency and vendor support through strong project management, cross-functional collaboration and strong communication skills.

  • Perform other digital marketing duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 8+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, specifically in web design, UX, content marketing and SEO. Proven results with planning, execution and optimization of digital marketing programs in healthcare or life sciences OR

  • Master's or MBA Preferredand 5+ years of similar experience noted above

  • Anticipates business and industry changes; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements in their area of expertise

  • Understand and can effectively synthesize broader and longer-term impact on division/company

  • Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge in marketing and communications

  • Considered an expert within the company and may have external presence in area of expertise

  • Applies in-depth knowledge in a discipline and broader application of other closely related areas

  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively as part of and/or lead multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent project management, strong project leadership skills

  • Excellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Ability to manage complex timeliness across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization

  • Expert knowledge of web user design and SEO within a highly regulated industry (preferred)

  • Proficiency in content marketing and content development for healthcare

  • Demonstrated skills in search engine marketing, display and/or other forms of paid media

  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integration

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $151,800.00-$220,050.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
