Summary of Position |
The Athletic Department at Keene State College is seeking applications for Athletic Trainer's to provide athletics healthcare services for all varsity level student-athletes, in close cooperation with Head Athletic Trainer, Athletic Training Staff, Team Physicians and Health Services. These are 85%-time benefited positions, full-time during the appointment dates from early August to early June each year.
Working under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer the successful candidates will join a highly skilled team of professionals to assist in the overall service component to Athletics that includes: prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation & reconditioning, organization & administration, and professional responsibility. |

Salary Information |

Athletic Health Care
As an allied health professional, the position requires providing all aspects of student athlete health care focused on evidenced based medicine to include but not limited to the following:
Prevention and Health Promotion (injury, illness)
Clinical Evaluation and Diagnosis
Immediate Care, Acute Emergent Care
Therapeutic Intervention to include Treatment, Rehabilitation & Reconditioning
Organization & Administration to include daily
EMR
Professional responsibility to include maintaining licensure and certification and being current on athlete health care. |

Other Duties as Assigned
These duties would be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and could include, inventory,
CPR instructor for Athletic staff members, online student athletic medical records system super user (Sportsware), etc. |
