Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project assigned, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. They will be responsible for managing projects from onset through completion, while working to address. Responsible for developing PMO tools for providing consistent deliverables.



Responsibilities

    Responsible for receiving project requests; evaluates business document requirements associated with projects; coordinates with cross-functional teams to establish business goals and strategies.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to identify project scope and determine the team's key players and requirements.
  • Develops and schedules team responsibilities; technical/operation requirements; detailed project plans, project budget, time-lines, resources, specifications, etc. in order to accomplish project goals; continually follows up with team to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Manages projects, including leading project meetings; documents issues, action items, risks, budget, user requirements, or deliverables; updates project schedules and plans, project communications, budget tracking, etc.
  • Identifies and tracks project issues, resolves issues where possible or escalates to higher management when needed; assesses and manages risks and drives mitigation activities.
  • Evaluates deliverables prepared by team to ensure work meets specifications and maintains a high level of quality.
  • Attends regularly scheduled meetings in order to provide project updates and information.
  • Manages project from initial concept through final implementation, utilizing established guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide a collaborative environment and culture


Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required or

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years project management Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites, Microsoft Project - preferred (High proficiency)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (High proficiency)
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills (High proficiency)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment (High proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI PMI preferred Upon Hire Preferred
