Provides programmatic and administrative support to faculty member in the Division of Transplant Surgery within the Department of Surgery who serves as Associate Dean for Physician Scientist Education amp; Training, Director of the OSU Medical Scientist Training Program, Principal Investigator/Program Director for multiple NIH supported training grants and a transplant immunobiology research program; assists with and leads aspects of the coordination, planning and implementation of activities related to those programs, professional organizations and medical center committees; serves as liaison with College of Medicine administrators, high level individuals essential to the research and education mission, multidisciplinary graduate programs, committees and students; handles confidential materials; disseminates directives and information; independently composes and responds to correspondence; accurately maintains and organizes appropriate files; oversees complex meeting schedule and calendar, including deadlines; coordinates events and meetings both on-site and off-site; prepares program materials and agendas for events and meetings; arranges for meeting space and appropriate AV equipment; generates and reconciles monthly financial statements and reports; arranges travel and completes expense reports for reimbursement; assists faculty member with national editorial and professional organization responsibilities, including grant and manuscript review; coordinates the NIH T32 and other training grant application process, including the development of a project plan, materials and data gathering, and review/organization/compilation of materials and data; coordinates laboratory management and research compliance protocols; develops and updates laboratory website; coordinates laboratory meetings with appropriate personnel and collaborators; prepares laboratory meeting agendas, and oversees project management records (financial, compliance, correspondence, and reports); develops e-surveys; prepares graphics representing survey and other data for presentation; analyzes and summarizes survey data to aid leadership in policy development and strategic planning; maintains CME log and other documentation needed for renewal of medical licensure, credentialing and board certification.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Skilled use of Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Endnote or comparable reference manager; Adobe Acrobat required. Familiarity with RedCap, GraphPrism, publishing software preferred. Two years of relevant experience with high level organizational skills, attention to detail, professional written and verbal communication, and proactive workstyle required.
