Tenneco is seeking a Global Manager Talent Management to play a critical role in developing the company's talent management framework as well as creating a standardized talent identification and cultivation approach. This role acts as the global talent advisor to our leaders and will lead, support, and facilitate global Company initiatives across Tenneco as required. Additionally, this candidate plans, develops, implements and administers employee development programs for Tenneco's team members. This role is responsible for implementing talent management strategy, including leadership assessments, succession management, development planning, career pathing, performance management, change management, and developing a competency framework to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. This role is also responsible for creating and implementing learning and leadership development programs that enable the organization to learn new skills, build proficiency and accelerate adoption of changes to daily ways of working. This includes consulting and advising with internal stakeholders, assessing learning needs, partnering with internal instructional design experts as well as external vendors to source, design and tailor content design, development and delivery of learning programs that accelerate employee speed to capability. - Builds Competency architecture and framework unique to Tenneco
- Identifies development assessments and facilitates employee coaching and feedback discussions for defining individual development priorities
- Prepares and facilitates/co-facilitates Tenneco's talent review, people planning and succession planning processes.
- Designs and implements performance management practices to enable and drive employee and leadership development planning
- Designs, develops and implements employee career pathing framework
- Oversees the design, development and execution of leadership development initiatives to cultivate an internally diverse and robust pipeline of leaders.
- Conducts learning needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and business performance.
- Establishes metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of programs to ensure impact and return on investment.
- Consults and advises with business leaders and HR partners
- Facilitates succession, development, engagement, or training sessions in an engaging manner via in-person, and/or virtual delivery. Identifies, evaluates, and manages external vendor partners
- Strong understanding of learning methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design concepts
- Assesses and refines talent management programs for the business and across Tenneco based on feedback, performance data, or best practices.
- Leverages HR technology and software to increase effectiveness and drive efficiency
- Helps build and foster collaborative relationships with leaders and colleagues across the organization to drive change

- Effectively presents information to all levels at Tenneco
- 10 years working in a business/manufacturing environment as a talent management practitioner
- 10 years of experience designing and implementing learning and development programs preferred
- Experience with leadership development assessments, including assessment certifications
- Experience providing feedback and coaching for employee and leadership development
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships.
- Ability to build effective relationships with leaders and team members to influence and work toward a common goal
- Ability to maintain confidential information and work in a team environment with a strong customer service focus.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Education, Human Capital Development, or related field
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related field a plus.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Practical and proven experience with large-scale organizational learning initiatives, applying change management techniques to drive adoption
