Shift: Mon-Fri Dayshift (6 hour shifts - NO Weekends or Holidays)
Department: CRMC - Labs
Compensation:

* Base Pay Range: $25.32 - $39.99 per hour, based on experience

* Choose Between Sign-On Bonus -OR- Retention Rewards

o Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

o Retention Rewards: Up to $15,000

* Relocation Support: Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away

* Retention Reward (Option 1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

* Student Loan Repayment (Option 2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

o Note: Details will be provided during the HR interview. Policy language is available upon request.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Supports and participates in the production of quality laboratory Histology /

Cytology services to ensure timely turnaround of reports.

Conducts and demonstrates quality management processes within the Laboratory and Medical Center.

Coordinates daily activities with the Pathologist and Laboratory Manager to

provide the most efficient and seamless delivery of laboratory Histology /

Cytology services.

Demonstrates and leads compliance with the department's standard work practices and policies.

Demonstrates positive customer service relations with all department and Medical Center encounters.

May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Histotechnician (ASCP-HT) certification by the American Society of Clinical

Pathologists (ASCP).

Three (3) years of histotechnology experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in histotechnology or a physical life science, or related area of study.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
