Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Logistics Consultant for work in the Army G-4 in the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. A successful LMI Logistics Analyst demonstrates competency in strategic planning, Army mobility and integration, and critical thinking, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

    Conduct research into logistics operations, planning and wargaming.
  • Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models.
  • Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance
  • Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.
  • Communicate with clients and senior Army leaders through written reports and oral presentations.
  • Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.
  • Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.
  • Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required. Degree in supply chain management, international relations or business is preferred.
  • This position requires 10 or more years' work experience.
  • Army knowledge/experience required.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets, database, and prepare briefing materiel.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
  • Available for occasional travel.
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Top Secret level. You must be a US citizen.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Master's degree or higher in related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Army Sustainment capabilities and concepts of employment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Experimentation and Concept Development
  • Working knowledge of Army Capability Development and Requirements Management (ACIDS/JCIDS)
  • Working knowledge of Joint and Multinational Force employment

Targeted Salary Range: $109,000-$135,000
