SUMMARY: This position provides troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in a variety of environments. Assistance and resolution are provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client- servers as well Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and web pages. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Be the leader for the MTC Knowledge Management team of military, government civilian and contract staff, taking the organizational vision and operational requirements and turning them into KM processes supported by IT Solutions
- Responsible for working with MTC staff to receive requirements, define the KM strategy and lead implementation of initiatives that promote knowledge sharing, preserve data, enable collaboration, and facilitate utilization of knowledge within the organization
- Research knowledge management tools, trends and methods to provide MTC Functional Teams the KM expertise to create information sharing efficiencies and improve cooperation with customers
- Conduct knowledge management training for contractor/government staff
- Update and maintain a detailed knowledge management SOP that leverages developed KM approaches (Community of Practice, Lessons Learned, Facilitated transfer of Best Practices, etc.)
- Maintain and archive MCTC historical data
- Monitor client feedback and assessment survey results
- Maintain access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data; may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences
- Provide direction to KM team members, including establishing priorities, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and reporting status to include recommendations interviews and hiring on new staff
- Ensure current and future processes are accessible to the Government via the MCTCnet website including managing permissions and procedures for granting website access
- Define and Implement effective metrics and reporting to reflect realized value of implemented solutions
- Responsible for coordinating migrating to SharePoint 2016 at government direction

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Knowledge Manager
- Minimum 4 years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013 or 2016
- Proven proficiency with SharePoint workflows, lists, forms, document libraries, and search
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripts for automating tasks and configuration of SharePoint environment
- Able to work with little supervision in fast-paced dynamic environments and able to supervise work of IT assistants
- Experience in Army operations and training environments preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Business Management, or relevant field of study
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
