Marcum LLP is seeking a Senior for our growing and well-established International Tax (iTax) team for our NYC metro area office. The position will perform corporate international tax compliance responsibilities within our iTax team, therefore, some experience in international tax forms is required. Hybrid work arrangements can be discussed.

This position requires a high energy, experienced tax professional with strong interpersonal and self-review skills. Responsibilities

• Prepare Forms 1120 and related schedules and Forms
• Prepare International Tax and informational tax Forms and returns
• Must have practice knowledge of M-1, M-2, M-3 adjustments within Form 1120
• Interact closely with clients year-round to provide proactive service and project management
• Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.
• Train and mentor lighter level associates.

Qualifications

• Must be a CPA (or passed all four parts) or a licensed EA
• Masters in Accounting or Taxation is required
• 3+ years solid tax experience in entity tax compliance, especially C corporations
• Proficient with tax software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Superb communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Strong tax research skills and self review
