Title: Developer IV
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of conversion to FTE) Location: Remote or Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 3 days a week) US Resident required. Must have resided min of 3 years within the last 5 years in US Day to Day: Building a Combined Edit Module (CCEM) for the dental edits in Python. Then ensure data is passed through existing system via JAVA and then to host (Mainframe). Emphasis on Python. Coding for edits using X12 / TR3 layout. About The Team: Team is 15 in size, growing to 25. Supporting several CMS initiatives with focus being new development with Python. Team has no experience with Python so looking for strong Python developers. Will hire 5 Python developers for this effort with goal to keep 2 developers on full-time after project completion in May 2025. Know JAVA would be a plus as we will seek to migrate JAVA code to Python in the future and possibly shifting to cloud technologies. Open to learning new technologies. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree. Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology or other job-related degree Minimum Required Work Experience: 6 years-of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
