The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. Each SPA Fellow is responsible for measuring, sustaining, and growing the technical expertise of their associated community within SPA to best meet the current and future needs of our clients. In addition, SPA Fellows act collectively as a group to oversee the broad spectrum of technical expertise that underpins SPA's effective support to the dynamically changing and highly integrated national security domain. Finally, SPA Fellows provide critical insight to the SPA leadership team in defining future growth opportunities, focusing SPA business strategy, and cultivating for SPA within their domain a recognized position of influence and thought leadership.

The responsibilities of an SPA Fellow require initiative, optimism, creative problem solving, leadership, and a broad understanding of the current state and the future trajectories of their field. An SPA Fellow must be able to understand how their field fits into the broader national security challenges of the Nation, and they must be able to explain important issues in their field to other non-specialists.

SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Cyber Operations Fellow.



Responsibilities

This position supports the SPA President with superior Cyber Operations strategic advice and technical insights primarily focused on DoD and IC clients. The successful candidate will develop a business strategy that garners materially relevant growth as well as provide technical insights that create differentiated capabilities for new and existing clients. Will also support the SPA cyber workforce with mentorship and professional development recommendations that ensure SPA employees remain highly qualified, technically sharp, and sought after by our clients.

Key duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

    Advise Chief Growth Office (CGO) and line leadership on Cyber Operations Business Development (BD) and Capture opportunities and work closely with Cyber BD/Capture indirect staff.
  • Advise Cyber Operations clients on technical challenges, associated problem solving to include analysis and recommended solutions.
  • Advise Cyber Operations clients on novel, game-changing technologies to pursue, advanced concepts, effective TTPs.
  • Advise, mentor, and lead Cyber employees through professional development and growth; cyber operations requires specific recurring education and training to remain sharp.
  • Advise SPA on establishing appropriate career tracks for cyber employees.


Qualifications

  • Top Secret, SCI/SAP eligible clearance required (SSBI/Tier 5 within the last 6 years)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's/PhD preferred
  • Greater than 10 years of relevant experience with DoD cyber operations at multiple levels (tactical, service MAJCOM, CYBERCOM, IC partners, and/or OSD staff)
  • Greater than 5 years of experience working with Intelligence Community (IC) organizations that directly support Cyber Operations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
