The Quality & Regulatory Analyst is skilled in the quality, regulatory, and/or food safety fields, with a focus on continuous improvement in these areas to reduce cost and risk. The position provides in-depth knowledge of the Quality, Regulatory, and Food Safety requirements applicable to products commercialized by ChemPoint.

The Quality & Regulatory Analyst is responsible for all departmental activities for a given set of products. Collectively, the team will maintain company's Quality, Regulatory and Food Safety management systems essential to support the strategic plans and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.

What You'll Do:

  • Supports internal partners by providing guidance, direction and interpretation of quality standards and systems, health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Serves as a primary point of escalation internally and externally for all quality & regulatory compliance-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety policies and procedures, including reporting of all hazards to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment is maintained.
  • Partners with cross functional leaders to ensure processes, systems, and policies are in place to support and enforce quality and regulatory compliance activities and best practices throughout the supply chain.
  • Supports the qualification (approval) of new supplier and new products and maintenance of their qualified status.
  • Reviews and maintains applicable product collateral.
  • Handles requests related to supplier, product information; aids in completion of customer questionnaires, as applicable.
  • Leads or assists in Regulatory reporting duties (Ex. TSCA 12(b), CDR) as well as in the development or update of company policies, programs, and standard operating procedures in alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Implements projects and initiatives, at times facilitating or supporting projects or initiatives of cross-functional scope (involving other departments).
  • Analyzes and interprets applicable trends to decide needs and adjust project/process requirements.
  • Report on key facts and metrics pertinent to Quality & Regulatory Management as to ensure timely management and corrective actions are carried out.
  • May coordinate and/or implement internal and external quality audits.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Business Administration, or related fields from a fully accredited four-year institution.
  • 3+ years' experience in Quality/Regulatory or related field
  • Experience supporting environmental management systems (ISO14000) preferred.
  • Experience supporting North American chemical monitoring & reporting requirements preferred (DEA List Chemicals, CDR, TSCA12(b), etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems (AS9100, etc) and programs preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
  • Proficiency with Safety Data Sheets
  • Maintains current and relevant knowledge base of regulations pertinent to ChemPoint's products and practices.
  • Good general understanding of business and management principles.
  • Efficiently conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Excellent time managements skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Excellent analytical/critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of applicable corporate, federal, state and local regulatory requirements for product, environmental, and general regulatory compliance.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lead by demonstrating desired behaviors.
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Exhibits versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships.

Where youll work:

This is a Hybrid role in Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $75,200 - $112,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
