SUMMARY

The Revenue Applications Manager has primary responsibility to lead and supervise all analysts' tasks related to design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical applications. They are responsible in maintaining relationships with the revenue / operational / clinical department representatives and subject matter experts. In addition, they are expected to obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of workflows and system functionality. Jointly with each other and with the department representatives, they lead the design of workflow and build in accordance with revenue / operational / clinical requirements. They work with each other in workgroups, and across interdisciplinary workgroups, to accomplish these goals as a team.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience
  • 2 years Systems Analyst experience desired or equivalent business/clinical experience in a health system
  • 2 years Management or supervisor experience also desired
  • Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users - both written and verbal
  • Problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possesses an understanding of EMR system capabilities to address process requirements
