Evanston, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: Temp Center Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Administrative Support for the Evanston campus. This position administers operational, financial, & business functions in direct support of the activities of four (4) academic Senior Associate Deans and their daily workflow at Kellogg, through the overseeing and executing existing systems as necessary. This support includes, but is not limited to: calendar management and travel logistics' budget and expense processing, reporting and tracking; and RSVP management. Researches and reviews administrative work procedures, policies & operational methods; identifies & documents as applicable: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); best practices; appropriate filing & audit mechanisms; financial & performance metrics reporting; & regulatory & compliance systems. Implements existing policy & ensures the effective, compliant, & efficient completion of daily administrative operations. May represent business area on internal &/or external administrative affairs by exchanging information. The role will include budget and expense submission and reconciliation, calendar management for four Senior Associate Deans, and coordination of departmental projects including specifics, timelines and follow-ups. This role will have an on campus presence of approximately 4 days per week in Evanston. Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Competencies include a strong ability to prioritize and effective time management skills, the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization. Software Required: MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
