Job Summary

Contribute, as part of a team, to the delivery of strategic consulting services across academic, research, administrative, affiliated, and economic development units of the Institute with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Serve as an individual contributor, delivering value as a member of project teams with increasing levels of autonomy under the general guidance and direction of project leaders.
Job Duty 2 - Contribute as part of a team to enterprise and internal projects or work independently on smaller projects.
Job Duty 3 - Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to develop solutions for Institute and unit challenges.
Job Duty 4 - Develop hypotheses and collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to isolate and resolve Institutional challenges.
Job Duty 5 - Design new processes or operating models and create timelines and project plans detailing the implementation process. Design and develop client deliverables under the direction of project leadership.
Job Duty 6 - Deliver project administration and support activities such as maintaining project plans, documenting project team decisions, and updating status with minimal oversight.
Job Duty 7 - Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to identify, define, and deliver value through projects. Assist in defining, tracking, and communicating value and impact of projects through case study development.
Job Duty 8 - Support competency area development and utilize competency area toolkits with minimal guidance.

Job Duty 9 - Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to associate strategy consultants assigned to projects.
Job Duty 10 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Two to four two years of job-related experience

Proposed Salary

$82,000 through $85,000

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative organizational data, translate data into insight, and prepare summary reports to share with colleagues and clients. Ability to work within a matrix organization structure. Ability to organize work tasks and plan for management of priority activities. Ability to use competency methodologies and toolkits with guidance from senior level consultants. Ability to model Georgia Tech's nine values consistently and effectively.

KNOWLEDGE
Foundational knowledge of project management best practices. Basic understanding of core consulting practices. Knowledge of organizational effectiveness practices.

SKILLS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capability to work effectively in teams. Strong critical thinking skills. Use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Basic project management skills. Use competency methods and tools with some guidance.

This is a limited-term position and is subject to availability of funding thereafter. All employment and assignments are ultimately contingent upon available funding, business needs, and your performance of the assignment. Georgia Tech retains the right to terminate this assignment at any time for cause or, in its sole discretion, for convenience; in either case, Georgia Tech's obligation shall be limited to payment for hours and/or days worked prior to the termination date.
